Therapy F.A.Q's

What is the initial free consultation about?
It's an opportunity to briefly connect with you and to gain an overview of the difficulties you are experiencing. It also provides a chance for us to determine if we are the best fit for your needs.
Where are therapy sessions provided?
Sessions can be provided in person or online. We have therapy rooms for in person sessions in Fleet Street, London or/and Canary Wharf.
What is your availability?
We have availability for therapy between Mondays to Friday 9-5pm.
How many sessions will I need?
The first session will be an assessment session of your difficulties which lead to determining how many sessions you might need depending on your needs and therapy goals. Based on the difficulties experienced and in line with the NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) guidelines, clients are recommended to usually have 6-20 sessions of therapy.
How long are the sessions?
The assessment session is usually 60 minutes long and subsequent therapy sessions are 50 minutes.
Are our therapy sessions confidential?
Confidentiality is a critical aspect of therapy and your information will be treated and protected in line with patient confidentiality agreement. However, there are exceptions when confidenciality will need to be upheld such as if you pose a risk to yourself or others or have experienced child abuse. We will always aim to discuss any concerns about confidentiality with you when it comes to protecting you or others in such situations.
How frequent should my session be?
The frequency of therapy sessions can vary depending on the individual and the difficulties they are experiencing. Typically, most clients have weekly therapy sessions.
How do I book a session?
You can book a session following the initial free consultations.
Can I book a session on behalf of someone else?
It is important for the individual seeking therapy to confirm their consent and to protect their confidentiality. Therefore, we require all enquiries made for therapy to be from the individual who is seeking therapy themselves.
What happens if I cancel my session?
We operate on a 48-hour working day cancellation policy, which means that should you cancel your session with less than 48-hour notice, you will be charged at the full rate. If you provide more than 48 hours notice, you’ll have the option to reschedule at no extra charge.
